The ISO 52000–1:2017 is the overarching Energy Performance of Buildings (EPB) standard, providing general framework EPB assessment. It applicable to assessment overall energy use a building, by measurement or calculation, and calculation performance in terms primary other energy-related metrics. 52000–1 provides profound guidelines, but also gives freedom adapt guidelines with national standards regulations. This article focuses on design stage syn.ikia project, which aims deliver blueprint for an Integrated Design Process sustainable plus buildings neighbourhoods, leading way districts cities. project has four demonstration sites one being focus this located Catalonia, Spain.
